Biker Buddy was founded by a group of devout motorcyclists who also happen to be electrical engineers.
In our search for reasonably priced safety devices, we were, frankly, surprised and highly disappointed. Most of what was available we found to be cheaply made, expensive to buy, and not made in America. We felt that we could design a more effective product, solidly built to last for years, manufacture it in America, and do it all without gouging the customer. There simply is no reason that a top notch headlight modulator should cost $200!
One invention Biker Buddy felt there was a need for amongst all bikers was the modulator. Modulators are a vast safety improvement over simply having a headlight light running during the day, and we thought, .

In our research of the market, we found that these devices were vastly overpriced. Our answer was to develop our own, the Biker Buddy P1 Modulator. This device is not only cost effective, but it it uses the most advanced technology available today, and it is reasonably priced as well.
Our next product offering came out of the cost saving efforts of the bike manufacturers. This is a not so well kept secret. ALL bike manufacturers scrimp on the power switch and relays that simply are not able to handle the current draw from turning on and off safety equipment. Countless bikers have found themselves stranded when one of these switches or relays fails.
So we designed a solution.
The takes the current draw of an accessory such as an air horn or a light bar, and reduces it to milliamps across the switch when the accessory really requires many amps to run. This ensures that the switch that starts your bike or controls your headlamp, will last as long as the rest of the bike. But we won’t stop there. We have an extensive road plan that includes the ongoing development of both new accessories as well as the enhancement of existing ones. So please keep checking in with us.
